Owing to a coating made up of thousands of glass microspheres on a polyester base, Reflective fabric has a strong capacity to reflect even the weakest light sources. It reflects and intensifies the brightness of the colour of the fabric itself, particularly if placed in the dark. If it is photographed using a flash, it detracts light from the other components in the shot, which show up as black. Inside the hood, there is a balaclava in cotton fleece with an opening for the eyes. Detachable lining in peached polyester microfiber, quilted with polyester padding. The detachable lining is attached to the outer garment using a system of ties, adapted from those used in the sailing world.
